Turning match footage into highlights, without editing software

Most youth and club-level footage ends up the same way: recorded on a sideline phone, uploaded somewhere, and never watched again. Not because it isn't useful — because turning two hours of match video into something worth watching takes time nobody on a coaching staff actually has.
That's the gap EZ Sports' performance analytics feature is built to close.
What actually happens to the footage
Upload match video, and the platform processes it with AI to identify key moments — the things that would otherwise take a human sitting through the full recording to find. Those moments become short highlight clips and performance data tied to individual players, without anyone manually scrubbing through footage or learning video editing software.
That data feeds two things: a running record of a player's development over a season, and a discovery portal scouts can use to find players based on real performance data instead of word of mouth.
Keeping it appropriate for young players
A meaningful share of the footage clubs work with is of minors, and we treat that deliberately. Where a player's performance data would be made visible to scouts, that only happens after a parent or guardian explicitly approves it — nothing is surfaced automatically. That consent can be withdrawn at any time. It's slower than making everything visible by default, and that's the point.
We'd rather the feature be a little more deliberate than have it get ahead of what parents are actually comfortable with.
